In implementation of the President’s directives to support the industrial sector and enhance its pivotal role in achieving economic growth, the Governor of Gharbia inspected Al-Nasr Rubber Products Company to address all challenges and expand production. The Governor praised the company’s products and affirmed the governorate’s commitment to providing all necessary support and facilities to factory owners, given the industrial sector’s crucial role in supporting and developing the national economy.
Major General Ashraf El-Gendy, Governor of Gharbia, accompanied by Dr. Mahmoud Issa, Deputy Governor, conducted an inspection tour of Al-Nasr Rubber Products Company, a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Chemical Industries, one of the companies under the Ministry of Public Business Sector. They were accompanied by Major General Pilot Adel Mahgoub, Managing Director of Al-Nasr Rubber Products Company, Dr. Abdel Aziz Abu Suleiman, Board Member, and Mr. Mamdouh El-Naggar, Head of the First District of Tanta.
This visit aimed to monitor the smooth operation of the company and assess its product range to address any challenges and expand production. This aligns with the state’s focus on developing the Egyptian economy and achieving sustainable development, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating a conducive business environment to increase the economic growth rate, achieve self-sufficiency, reduce imports, and maximize exports.
The tour began with the governor receiving a comprehensive explanation of the company’s operations and products. This national facility manufactures its products using the latest scientific and technological systems and techniques in the field, adhering to the highest quality standards and specifications. This is achieved through collaboration with a group of leading international experts and specialized companies, resulting in production that rivals and even surpasses imported products. Thus, Nasr Rubber Products Company (“Narubin”) produces products that compete with their global counterparts, all made by Egyptian hands. The company currently serves major industrial sectors, including: automotive manufacturing, chemical industries, agriculture, transportation, textiles, construction, petroleum industries, engineering and metallurgical industries, and food industries.
During his tour, the governor inspected the factory’s various departments: Quality Control, Medium Pressure, Profiles, High Pressure, Radiator, Latex, Hose, Battery, Lining, and Insulation. He observed the company’s products, which include hoses, profiles, presses, floor and automotive mats, battery cases, latex gloves, conveyor belts, carpets, flooring, and linings. The governor also explored marketing opportunities for the factory’s products, which have garnered significant praise.
During the tour, the governor emphasized that developing and advancing the industrial sector is a top priority for the political leadership and the government’s current plan. He noted that the governorate is committed to providing all necessary support and facilities to factory owners, recognizing the pivotal role of the industrial sector in supporting and developing the national economy. This commitment is in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The governor further stated that there is ongoing presidential attention and well-considered steps being taken by the state to support priority sectors of the Egyptian economy, including the industrial sector, to enhance its central role in achieving targeted economic growth and deepening local manufacturing.
